MSCI names the former president of J.P. Morgan’s incorporated unit in the mainland to spearhead client coverage for the Greater China region.
Julia Wu joins as the head of Greater China client coverage to deliver the firm’s index, analytics, ESG and real estate solutions in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, according to a statement.
In her Shanghai-based role, Wu reports to Jack Lin, head of client coverage, Asia Pacific.
China Connections
Wu has nearly 30 years of industry experience in various senior leadership roles. Prior to joining MSCI, she was most recently with J.P. Morgan as its head of corporate banking and has served as China president and board of director for J.P.Morgan Chase Bank (China) Co. She has also held senior leadership roles at HSBC, Deutsche Bank and various industry bodies.
