Commerzbank has appointed a new Asia head of capital markets and advisory, based in Singapore.
Jack Jiang was appointed to the new role, according to a statement, while retaining responsibilities in managing the German lender’s global emerging markets FX and rates business.
Jiang reports globally to Roman Schmidt, head of capital markets, and regionally to Nick Johnston, regional board member Asia.
Jiang joined Commerzbank in 2017 as head of Asia rates and local markets trading before leading the interest rates, currencies and commodities trading (IRCCT) unit in Asia one year later and the emerging markets business in 2019. Previously, he spent 14 years at National Bank of Australia where he held senior positions in the FX and rates division.
