Vontobel Asset Management strengthened its institutional business in Australia with a senior hire.
Zurich based Vontobel named Andreas Faeste as senior institutional relationship manager to expand its client reach in Australia and New Zealand, where Faeste will focus on the distribution of Vontobel’s fixed income capabilities.
Prior to taking on the new role Faeste worked with Voya Investment Management, Perennial Investment Partners and Deutsche Asset Management through his own marketing firm. Before that he held executive management positions at both ING Investment Management and IAG Asset Management, Vontobel said on Thursday.
