Stephane Honig (pictured above), the bank’s head of sales for wealth management and family offices as well as its Head of Strategic Equity Solutions APAC has resigned from both roles, as finews.asia can reveal. BNP Paribas declined to comment..

Honig was a «BNP-lifer» who spent almost two decades with the bank in various roles. His resignation comes as a shock to many in the industry because he was widely seen as a member of the bank’s Asian leadership team.

In his previous role as Head of wealth management for Indian markets, a position he held for four years based out of Hong Kong, he built significant relationships with the non resident Indian diaspora.
