Sun Life launches its new head office in Hong Kong which designed with the intention to enable internal collaboration through an open workplace.
The insurer’s new head office will be located at Cheung Kei Center in Hunghom, occupying six and a half floors in one tower and all floors in another. According to a statement from Sun Life, the office’s «elevated environment, featuring a staff café, height-adjustable desks, post-workouts amenities, as well as existing employee-centric policies such as flexible working» aims to improve employee satisfaction as well as attract young talent.
«The new open workplace reaffirms our century-long presence in Hong Kong, and is pivotal in designing and delivering exceptional client experiences which are critical in the insurance industry and differentiate us from competitors,» said Fabien Jeudy, chief executive of Sun Life Hong Kong Limited, underlining the insurer’s 127-year history in the city.

Sun Life appointed Léo Grépin as its president of Asia in 2019 to succeed Claude Accum who retired on December 31 last year. In Grépin’s role, he will oversee the firm’s life, health and wealth management businesses in seven regional markets: the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and India.
