After a three-decade career at the bank, he will help the multi-family office grow its business in Greater China.
Danny Wong has joined Raffles Family Office as a managing director, effective September 1, where he will focus on the Greater China region, the company announced on Monday.
Wong started his career at Standard Chartered Bank in 1989 as a graduate trainee, following which he worked in its Commercial Banking division for more than 25 years before moving to Private Banking in 2018.

Raffles Family Office's CEO Chi Man Kwan has previously called Greater China an «integral» part of the company's growth strategy, and has made several hires in recent months as part of its push into the region. It hired appointed Edward Sit from Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing as executive director and head of Greater China corporate development, as well as wealth management veteran Stella Kong in May as managing director to lead its business expansion in the region.
The company also partnered Italian football club Juventus F.C. on a range of branding and marketing initiatives that focus on the region.
Founded in Hong Kong in 2016, Raffles Family Office providdes independent asset management services, wealth management and wealth transfer services to individuals and families. It currently has a team of over 70 across offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Shanghai.
