Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential, has appointed Lilian Tham as its chief operating officer, the company announced on Wednesday.
Tham, who will be based in Singapore, is responsible for operations, digital, data and administrative support, as well as other strategic growth and change initiatives. She reports to Wai-Kwong Seck, chief executive officer, Eastspring.
Lilian takes over as COO from Jeroen Buwalda, who is moving to a newly created role as chief of global business services at Prudential Corporation Asia (PCA). Buwalda will focus on making functional and support operations across PCA more robust and future-ready, the announcement said.
